Amazon referral fee for Jewelry (2026)

What to watch when you price
- Only part of the price gets the lower rate. A $999.99 sale pays $50.00 on the first $250.00, $37.50 on the rest: $87.50 (8.75%), not the $200.00 that 20% of the whole price would be.
- The $0.30 minimum is more than the percentage below $1.50, so very cheap items pay a bigger share: $0.30 on a $1.49 item is 20.1%.
- Shipping counts. The fee is on the total the buyer pays, so shipping and gift wrap the buyer pays on a merchant-fulfilled order are charged at this category's rate too. Sales tax isn't.
When you refund a buyer
Amazon gives back the referral fee minus its refund administration fee, the lesser of $5.00 or 20% of the referral fee. On a $249.99 Jewelry sale, the $50.00 referral fee comes back as $45.00.
