Amazon FBA holiday peak fee calculator
From October 15, 2026 to January 14, 2027, Amazon charges its holiday peak fulfillment fees on every FBA unit shipped, and from October to December the monthly storage fee is about three times the usual rate for standard-size items. Pick your product's size, enter what you ship a month and the space you store: the calculator shows what this peak season adds, per unit and in total.
Fulfillment: $0.30 × 600 units × 3 months. Storage: $1.62 × 150 cubic feet × 3 months. Fees include Amazon's 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge; bulky and extra-large items pay the same per-pound rate above their base in both seasons.
2026 holiday peak fulfillment fees
Per unit for most products priced $10 to $50, with the 3.5% surcharge. Peak rates apply to units shipped from October 15, 2026 through January 14, 2027.

Storage from October to December
| Per cubic foot a month | January to September | October to December |
|---|---|---|
| Standard-size | $0.78 | $2.40 |
| Oversize | $0.56 | $1.40 |
| Dangerous goods, standard-size | $0.99 | $3.63 |
| Dangerous goods, oversize | $0.78 | $2.43 |
The storage utilization surcharge and the aged inventory surcharge come on top, all year: the storage fee calculator adds them for a product.
The example
A large standard product of 12 oz to 1 lb at $24.99 costs $4.76 to fulfill now and $5.06 in the peak: $0.30 more on each of 1,800 units, $540.00. Its 150 cubic feet cost $1.62 more a month for three months, $729.00. That's $1,269 this season, $0.71 on every unit shipped, and storage is the bigger part.
How to pay less this peak
- Store less from October. A standard-size cubic foot costs about three times as much: send holiday stock in smaller, more frequent shipments (the restock calculator sizes them), and keep at least 28 days of supply to stay clear of the low-inventory-level fee.
- Clear slow stock early. A unit that doesn't sell in the holidays pays peak storage every month it sits: a coupon or deal or a removal can cost less.
- Check your prices. The fulfillment increase comes out of every sale's profit: the price calculator finds the price that keeps your margin.
- Watch the breaks. A price just under $10 pays a lower fee than one at $10, and a package just over a weight break pays the next row's: the size tier calculator shows how close you are.
