How it's worked out
- Referral fee: the percentage of the selling price Amazon keeps, with its $0.30 minimum.
- Landed cost: product cost, freight to Amazon, tariff or duty (as a share of the product cost) and anything else you pay per unit.
- Margin is profit ÷ selling price; ROI is profit ÷ landed cost.
- Breakeven ACoS is profit before ads ÷ selling price: the ACoS at which a sale from an ad makes exactly $0.
