Amazon settlement report analyzer
Upload the settlement report for one of your Amazon payouts (or a date range Transaction report) and see where the money went: sales and refunds, every fee Amazon took, ads, storage, reimbursements and reserves, down to the deposit in your bank, with what each product brought in. Nothing is stored: the file is read and thrown away.
182 orders, 210 units sold, $12.72 of Amazon fees and ads per unit, 6 refunds.

Is Amazon paying you for every refund?
This payout has 6 refunds. Amazon owes you for a refunded unit the buyer never sends back, or that comes back damaged by Amazon or its carrier, but it only pays when it notices: MyProfit checks every refund against your returns and reimbursements and lists the ones to claim, with the deadline. That's free, for good.

How to download your settlement report
- In Seller Central, open Payments, then All Statements.
- Find the payout (each one covers about two weeks) and choose Download Flat File V2. If the button isn't there, use Reports Repository, report type Settlement, and pick the payout.
- Upload the .txt file here as it is. Don't open and save it in a spreadsheet first: that can change the amounts and dates.
For a month or any other dates instead of one payout: Payments › Reports Repository › Date Range Reports › Transaction, set the dates, request it and download the CSV when it's ready. Transfers to your bank in that file are shown apart: they're payouts, not costs.
What the analyzer shows
Every line of the report is sorted into one of the buckets an accountant would use (the same ones MyProfit's Xero and QuickBooks exports use): sales and refunds, each kind of Amazon fee, ads charged to the payout, reimbursements, sales tax and reserves. They add up to Amazon's deposit; if they don't, the file was cut short. In the example, $5,207.90 of sales became a $2,358.92 deposit: Amazon's fees and ads took $2,671.76 (51.3% of sales), refunds $184.94, and $60.00 more was held in reserve than released.
The file never leaves this request: it's read line by line and dropped, nothing is saved and its name is kept out of the logs. Your report holds order numbers but no buyer names or addresses. The settlement report guide explains each column and line.
Settlement report questions
Why is my deposit so much lower than my sales?
Referral and FBA fees usually take a third or more of the price, then ads billed to the payout, storage, refunds and any reserve Amazon holds back come off too. The reserve comes back in a later payout. See why a payout is late or smaller.
Is the deposit my profit?
No: it's what's left after Amazon, before you pay for the products, the freight and any ads charged to your card. MyProfit takes off the landed cost of the units in each payout to give its real profit.
Can I analyze several payouts at once?
Upload one file at a time here. MyProfit loads every payout from Amazon automatically and shows them side by side.
Get this for every payout automatically, with profit after product cost
MyProfit pulls your orders, fees, settlements, returns and ad spend from Amazon every night and shows your real profit by product, day and payout. 30 days of everything free, then $19.99 a month, or keep the free plan: it finds the money Amazon still owes you and checks your FBA fees, for good.
