Amazon FBA profit calculator
What one unit really makes after Amazon's fees, your landed cost, tariffs and ads, and the highest ACoS you can run before ads lose money.
At 25.0% ACoS, a sale that came from an ad costs $7.50 in ad spend, leaving $2.62. Keep ACoS under 33.7% or ad sales lose money.
How it's worked out
- Referral fee: the percentage of the selling price Amazon keeps, with its $0.30 minimum.
- Landed cost: product cost, freight to Amazon, tariff or duty (as a share of the product cost) and anything else you pay per unit. The landed cost calculator works it out for a whole shipment.
- Margin is profit ÷ selling price; ROI is profit ÷ landed cost.
- Breakeven ACoS is profit before ads ÷ selling price: the ACoS at which a sale from an ad makes exactly $0.
Know the margin you want instead? The price calculator works backwards to the lowest price that leaves it, and your breakeven price.
Amazon's fees change by size tier, category and season, so check the FBA fee for your item in Seller Central. MyProfit uses the fees Amazon actually charged on each order, from your settlements.
Storage, returns and the fees that only apply some months come off too: how to calculate your real Amazon profit works one unit through with all of them.
