Amazon's 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge, explained

Since April 17, 2026, Amazon adds a 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge to the FBA fulfillment fee on every unit it ships for you in the US. It comes on top of the rate card, in the holiday season too. Here's what it adds per unit, by product size.

Keeping the fee down

MyProfit takes the fees Amazon actually charged from your settlement reports, surcharge included, and checks them against your products' sizes, so a fee that jumps shows up: see the FBA fee overcharge check.
