What MyProfit reads from Amazon, what it keeps, and for how long.
What MyProfit reads from Amazon
Your orders and order items, Amazon's fees, settlements, returns, reimbursements, FBA inventory and, if you connect Amazon Ads, your Sponsored Products campaigns and their performance. MyProfit reads these to work out your profit; it never changes your listings or prices.
Buyer information
- Never kept: buyers' names, email addresses and phone numbers.
- Kept for tax and reports: each order's ship-to city, state and ZIP code, so sales tax and sales by state can be worked out.
- Kept only to ship: the street address and recipient for merchant-fulfilled orders you ship from Ship orders, removed 30 days after the order ships.
MyProfit doesn't email your buyers. Review requests go through Amazon's own Request a Review feature, so Amazon sends them.
Amazon's Sales Tax Report
Only if you turn the import on (on the Sales tax page). MyProfit keeps the order identifiers and dates, the taxing jurisdiction, the amounts and the ship-to city, state and ZIP, deletes rows after 36 months, and deletes all of it if you turn the import off.
Keeping your account safe
Every account signs in with two-factor sign-in. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach MyProfit.
Removing access
See Connecting Amazon for how to withdraw MyProfit's access in Seller Central or Amazon Ads at any time.
