Ad schedule
Run campaigns only in the hours of the week that pay, switched on and off every hour.
Ad schedule runs a Sponsored Products campaign only in the hours you choose (sometimes called dayparting). Outside them MyProfit pauses the campaign in Amazon, and turns it back on when its hours start.
Setting one up
- Choose New schedule and pick an enabled or paused campaign (one schedule per campaign).
- Fill in the week: a filled square is an hour the campaign runs. Click a day or an hour to switch the whole row or column, or start from Every hour, 6am to 10pm or Clear.
- Save. Hours are in the marketplace's local time: Pacific for the US, Canada and Mexico, UK time for the UK, and central European time for the rest of Europe, with daylight saving.
How it switches
- Every hour MyProfit checks each schedule. When the campaign's hours start it turns it on; when they end it pauses it.
- It only acts at those switches. If you pause or start the campaign yourself in between, it stays that way until the schedule's next switch. To stop MyProfit switching a campaign, untick Switch this campaign on and off or remove the schedule.
- Archived campaigns are left alone. If Amazon refuses a change, the schedule shows Amazon refused with Amazon's reason and MyProfit tries again the next hour.
- Removing a schedule leaves the campaign as it is at that moment.
Cutting hours saves spend but loses the sales those hours bring. Compare the campaign on Ads overview for a couple of weeks before and after you schedule it.
Schedules you had before the Ad schedule page was rebuilt (September 2026) kept their hours but start switched off. Open one and tick Switch this campaign on and off by the schedule to use it again.
