Returns
Return rates, reasons, what happened to returned units, and refunds without a return.
Returns shows FBA customer returns by the day they reached Amazon, and refunds by order date, for the dates you pick. Returns load daily for the US and UK marketplaces.
The numbers across the top
- Units returned, and the return rate against units sold in the period.
- Refunds, as a share of sales.
- Back in stock: the share of returned units Amazon found resellable.
- Refunded, not returned: money to check with Amazon (below).
The rest of the page
- Units returned by week (weeks start on Monday).
- Why customers returned: Amazon's return reasons.
- What happened to the returned units: Amazon's inspection result, from back in stock to customer or carrier damaged.
- Most returned products, with each one's return rate and top reason. Rates of 10% or more are highlighted.
Refunded but not returned
Orders from the last 18 months that were refunded more than 45 days ago, where units are still out and Amazon hasn't reimbursed you. Amazon usually owes you for these: check them in Seller Central and open a reimbursement case. The 50 most recent are listed. The Reimbursements page lists the ones still inside Amazon's claim window, with the case text.
Missed delivery returns
Missed delivery returns (linked from the Returns page) lists the last 12 months of returns whose reason was that the order arrived after Amazon's promised date, with how the unit came back, what the order line was refunded and anything Amazon has reimbursed, plus a monthly chart.
A return that came back unsellable with nothing reimbursed is marked Worth a case. Amazon delivered these late, so ask Seller Support to reimburse them; Worth a case at the top of the table lists just those. Refunds and reimbursements come from settlements, so the newest returns may not show them yet.
