MyProfit

Let MyProfit file your claims

MyProfit opens your reimbursement cases for a share of what Amazon pays: the price, how it works and the terms.

If you'd rather not open the reimbursement cases on Amazon owes you yourself, MyProfit can open them for you. Filing them yourself stays free; this is for when you'd rather hand it over.

What it costs

  • 10% of what Amazon pays on the claims MyProfit files, with the Seller plan.
  • 25% on the free plan (and during a free trial).
  • The rate is the one on the day a claim is filed. Nothing is owed if Amazon declines a claim or doesn't pay it, and there is no setup fee or minimum.

How it works

  1. On Amazon owes you, agree to these terms and choose Ask MyProfit to file my claims. On the free plan, save a card with Stripe next (nothing is charged then).
  2. In Seller Central, open Settings, then User permissions, choose Add new user and invite info@myprofit.co with access to your FBA inventory and to support cases. You never share your password, and you can remove the user at any time.
  3. MyProfit accepts the invitation and starts. A person at MyProfit opens a case for each claim before its deadline, with the details MyProfit has checked against your settlements and Amazon's returns report. The claim shows filed by MyProfit.
  4. When Amazon reimburses the order, it appears in your settlements and the claim moves to Finished as recovered, with the amount Amazon paid.

The terms

  • What MyProfit files. Only claims listed on Amazon owes you, inside Amazon's claim window, and only ones MyProfit believes Amazon owes. It may decide not to file a claim. It follows Amazon's reimbursement policy, which warns against premature, poorly researched or bulk claims.
  • What MyProfit does with access. It uses your Seller Central access only to open and follow up reimbursement cases for you. It doesn't change your listings, prices, inventory, settings or anything else.
  • Billing. On the 1st of each month MyProfit bills its share of the reimbursements Amazon paid the month before on claims it filed, through Stripe. With the Seller plan it's added to your next subscription invoice; on the free plan it's charged to the card you saved when you asked. Amounts under $0.50 wait for the next month. If Amazon later takes one of those reimbursements back, MyProfit credits its share.
  • Amazon decides. Amazon decides every claim and how much it pays. MyProfit can't promise a claim will be paid, and your Seller Central account stays yours and your responsibility.
  • Stopping. Stop any time on Amazon owes you and remove MyProfit from your Seller Central users. Claims MyProfit filed before you stopped keep these terms if Amazon pays them later.
